Senator McConnell to Speak at Chamber Lunch
U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell will be the featured speaker at the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Luncheon Tuesday, May 26. The event starts at 11:30 and will be held at the Chamber building (710 College Street). Senator McConnell will provide an update on recent happenings in Washington. The cost is $10 and includes lunch. Happiness is...being a Republican
A recent Pew Research Center survey has again found Republicans to be happier than Democrats and Independents. In the recent survey, Republicans were 50% more likely than Democrats to indicate they were very happy. The relationship holds even when controlling for other factors such as income and have been reasonably consistent for the past 30+ years. Overall, being in good health is the factor most associated with happiness. More information on the survey can be found at the Pew Research Center.
